My husband &i are planning to visit Disney in June with our 2&7year old this year. Everyone is advising us against taking our 2 year old because of the Florida heat in June. How bad is the heat in June and will it be stressful for my 2 year old dau

Hi Poohja! The countdown is on for your upcoming vacation! The average temperatures in June is between 72 and 91 degrees Farenheit. It certainly does get hot, but you can make the heat manageable. We always try to get to the parks right at opening time, and then head back to the resort during the hot afternoon sun. It's the perfect time for a nap and a swim. You can then head back to the parks in the evenings when the sun has gone down.  Be sure to bring lots of water and drinks with you to the parks. And sunscreen. Lots of it.

My daughter was two years old for her first Disney vacation, and although she doesn't remember it, she loves looking back at the pictures. Bring lots of sunscreen, stay hydrated and take lots of breaks and I'm sure you'll have a great vacation.

Hope this helps Poohja! Write back with any other questions!
