My husband and I have already booked a room for ourselves at the Poly for 7 nights in May. Now my daughter, her husband and 2yr old are thinking of joining us. If they decide to come last minute, can they just “show up” with us at check in or do we have to

    Hi Sten,

How awesome that would be if your family is able to join you on your Disney World trip. I assume by asking if your family can "just show up at check-in" that they intend to stay in your room. I would definitely call the Disney reservation line prior to your arrival and let them know of the change in your party size.

In most cases the layout or type of room that you receive is not guaranteed and therefore it is  possible that you could arrive to find a room with a king bed waiting for you. I think one king bed for your family of five would not be to comfortable. By notifying Disney prior to your arrival that your party size has changed, arrangements can be made for proper sleeping arrangements, any addtional costs have been discussed, tickets added for those guest needing them and much more. You can reach the Disney reservation system by calling 407-W-Disney or 407-934-7639.

Hope they are able to share in your magical trip! Have a great time!
