Hurray, embarking on Disney Fantasy in February 2013...with kids 11 and 6. If hubby and I plan to spend a few more hours enjoying Disney's adult night out past 10pm, while kids are in bed, can you advise on options about enjoying a "peace of mind"

    Hi Mollie!

Embarking on the Disney Fantasy is very exciting!  The next year will fly by as you prepare for this magical voyage at sea!

My husband and I always enjoy the adult night life on the ships well past 10:00.   Although bedtime is 8:30-9:00pm at home, it is much later when we cruise.  All the fun-filled youth programming activities make it very hard for the kids to leave these incredible spaces. With the clubs staying open until 12:00-1:00am, your children will be safe and sound under the supervision of the youth counselors.  If your six year old gets sleepy, many times the counselors will put on a movie and let those that are tired lie down on the nap mats.  I think you will be surprised at your crew's energy level during your cruise!

On the Fantasy you will have two Wave phones in your stateroom for your use while you cruise.  They are complimentary and allows you to text and call onboard the ship and on Castaway Cay.  If the youth counselors need to get in touch with you, they will contact you via the Wave Phone.  Your 11 yr. old can also use this phone to stay in communication with you while you and your husband are experiencing the adult-only amenities onboard.

I hope my answer helps give you the peace of mind you need for your upcoming cruise.  If you think of any other questions, please let me know.  I'd love to help!

    Have a wonderful day!
