Ghoulish greetings, Mariana! I'm so glad the spirits led you back to planDisney. Wow, it's his first visit to the Disneyland Resort and Halloween Time is the perfect occasion for a magical and spooky experience.
One of the highlights during this season is the Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction. The holiday overlay is my favorite version, bringing a unique blend of Halloween and Christmas magic. Great news! Disneyland Resort on Instagram just announced the return of this classic ride on July 29. Once it returns, be prepared to use a virtual queue as that will be the only way to enjoy this beloved attraction.
Visiting during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is spellbinding. From specialty treats to nighttime spectaculars, there's so much to explore and enjoy. Here are some tips to make the most of your visit:
- Indulge in seasonal delights such as pumpkin-flavored churros, Halloween-themed Mickey-shaped treats, and other ghoulish goodies available throughout the park. Follow Disney Parks Blog as they typically release a Disney Eats Foodie Guide closer to the experience.
- Don't miss the Halloween Screams fireworks show. This nighttime spectacular features eerie projections, spooky music, and, on select nights, fireworks that light up the sky with Halloween magic.
- The park is adorned with Halloween decorations, creating a festive and eerie atmosphere. Be sure to take plenty of pictures with the seasonal decor, including the giant Mickey pumpkin on Main Street, U.S.A.
- Look out for your favorite Disney characters at both parks dressed in their Halloween costumes! Be sure to capture photos for those core memories!
Remember to plan and make the most of your day by using the Disneyland app to check wait times, and make dining reservations, and I recommend purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass. One last thing, Mariana, make sure you get him his 1st Visit button from City Hall! If you have any more questions, please send me another message.
Happy haunting!
