    The Hubs and I are purchasing APs for the 1st time. We live out of state so will activate them day 1 of our trip. If we have a magic band we have purchased can we link our APs to that band the day of activation?

    I am SUPER excited for you and your hubby! You are going to LOVE being Annual Passholders! Not only will you enjoy lots of wonderful perks and discounts, but you'll be able to visit "The Most Magical Place on Earth" whenever you'd like! Does it get any better than that!?

    While you will receive a complimentary MagicBand as an Annual Passholder, you won't receive it until after you've activated your annual pass and customized your MagicBand online. I'm happy to let you know, though, that yes, you may absolutely link a different MagicBand to your account and use that one in the meantime. Or if you happen to still have one from a previous trip, you could use that one, too. No data is stored on MagicBands; they simply link back to all of the information stored within your My Disney Experience account, so as long as you have the MagicBands linked to your account, you'll be able to use whichever one you choose. In fact, I often like to bring more than one MagicBand and change them out based on what I'm wearing or doing that day. You'll just want to make sure that the MagicBands you want to use are marked as "Active" within your My Disney Experience account, but then you'll be good to go!
