Ahoy, Cindy!
Your question has me daydreaming! I can picture myself at the
Walt Disney Theatre on a Disney Cruise ship watching the amazingly talented Disney Cruise Line entertainment Cast take me on an incredible pixie-dusted musical journey. Each scene dazzles, and I'm always in awe of how the performers make it look effortless even though they are singing, dancing and sometimes flying on a moving vessel. It's just spectacular, and I can't wait for your family to experience it on your upcoming sailing!
Cindy, when it's show time, you'll find some food and drinks can be brought into the theater. There will be a wait-staff selling popcorn, candy, soda and alcoholic beverages up and down the aisles beginning about 30 minutes prior to the curtain opening. There is also a snack bar,
Preludes, that sells snacks and drinks just outside the doors. But, if you want to bring in your own, you can stop by the 24-hour beverage station to pick up drinks and grab something from the quick-service like chips or cookies as large, hot food items on plates are prohibited. The Big Island cookies available from Room Service work well too and are delivered in plastic wrap if you want to order them earlier in the day. I'm not sure the dining time you've been assigned, but if you have main seating at 5:45 p.m., you'll see the show second at 8:30 p.m., so your crew may not be too hungry if this is the case. If you have second seating at 8:15 p.m., you'll see the show first at 6:15 p.m. We usually dine during second seating, so I always budget for a bag of Goofy Character Gummies and popcorn for the shows just in case!
Thank you for cruising over with your question, Cindy! Please let us know if we can assist you further with your plans.
Have a magical day!
Nancy
