Hubby and I are planning a trip in 2011, with a 4 yr old & 5 month old. We know how important nap time and bedtime can be after a long fun-filled day! Which resorts offer a 1 bedroom w/ sep living area so we can still stay up without disturbing sleep?

Hi, Claire!  You have several options for an accommodation that will offer you a separate sleeping area.  The All Star Music Family Suites have a separate master bedroom, where you can close the door with the kids on one side and you on the other.  There are televisions in both the bedroom and the living room, so whichever side of the door you choose, you'll have TV access.  There are two bathrooms in these units also, which I found a great feature when I was potty training my middle daughter.  Sometimes, "I have to go now!" means "I should have gone ten minutes ago!", so having the spare bathroom was great if someone else was showering.

Any of the Disney Vacation Club resorts will have one bedroom units with a separate master bedroom.  They also have a full kitchen and a washer and dryer in each unit, which can be a great thing to have with young children.  There are larger units - all the way up to a villa that will sleep 12 - but you probably only need a one bedroom.

The Ft. Wilderness cabins also have a separate bedroom and living area.  They also have a really nice deck outside if you want to put the kids in to sleep and enjoy the evening outdoors.

    Have a great vacation!
