My hubby and I are planning a third trip to WDW in Sept 2011. We stayed at Coronado,to big, last stay was at POFQ. We loved it but wanted to try something different. Caribbean has been suggested, will it be ok with preferred rooms? Or to big?

    Hi Tracy,

If you thought Coronado was too big, than Caribbean Beach is going to be just as big if not a bigger feel to you. This is one of the largest resorts that is available on site for guests to enjoy. It is set up into six villages. It is anchored by Port Royale which has the food court and shopping. In addition, the main pool is located here as well. There are lots of activities to do on site.

I honeymooned here and then did not return until last year. With having two tween daughters, it was easy for us to get around property including heading to Port Royale for breakfast. It is romantic for strolls at night with your husband.

If you liked Port Orleans French Quarter, how about its sister resort, Port Orleans Riverside. This resort has the feel of the bayou. If you stay in the mansions of Magnolia Bend, you will be close to transportation as well as Colonel's Cotton Mill. At the Colonel's you will find dining and supplies as well as fun entertainment in the River's Roost.

This is my favorite moderate resort on property.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
