Hi Diana! Walt Disney World has so many fabulous restaurants -- it's a great place for a date night! Disney guests are welcome to use the
Children's Activity Centers at any of the
resorts; you do not have to be a guest at a particular resort or eating dinner there to use a resort's Kids'
Club. You can choose any of the six Children's Activity Centers, which are located in the Grand Floridian,
Polynesian, Beach Club, Dolphin, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Wilderness Lodge
resorts.
The Contemporary does not have a Kids' Club, so it may be most convenient for you to check your 4-year-old into Simba's Cubhouse at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and then head to the Contemporary for dinner. Alternatively, you could use one of the Centers close to the Contemporary, such as the Neverland Club at the Polynesian. (Its a particularly fun one -- my kids loved that they had to climb through a window to enter it and that there was a room full of video game machines there!)
Reservations are recommended for the Child Activity Centers; you can make one by calling 407-WDW-DINE. The fee is $11.50 per child
per hour, with a two-hour minimum, and includes dinner. Most of the child care centers are open from
4:30 pm to midnight, but the Never Land club generally opens at 4 p.m.
