Hubby & I are debating between the Wild Lodge & Yacht Club for our anniversary...any recommendations for a couple? We only plan on visiting one park so the resort is important to us..is the pool area very busy at YC since it's shared with the BC? T

    Hi Charlene,

    Happy anniversary!

The Wilderness Lodge is one of my all time favorites, but if you're planning to spend lots of time at the resort, then I'd have to send you to the Yacht Club.

Yes, the Stormalong Bay pool complex is shared between the Yacht and Beach Clubs, but it is also HUGE, more than three acres of swimming. In my opinion it is by far the best pool on Disney property, really a waterpark unto itself. In addition to a terrific water area, the Yacht Club also has easy access to all the amenities of the Boardwalk area. In the evenings, there are outdoor performers along the boardwalk, which can be charming. You can also walk to the Jellyrolls piano bar and the Atlantic Dance Hall for adult evening entertainment. Additionally, there are numerous restaurant options along the boardwalk.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
