My hubby and I are coming the the world the first of June, with our girls who will be 13 and almost 18. What is there for the girls to do while hubby and I have some time to ourselves if we can find something to do ourselves?

Hi Cathy!  Thanks for visiting the Mom's Panel!  I personally think Disney is a perfect vacation setting for kids of all ages!  My fourteen-year-old daughter loves it still just as much as my six-year-old twins! Downtown Disney is a shopping, dining, and entertainment district that would be perfect for your teen daughters!  Downtown Disney offers great entertainment options like Disney Quest Interactive Theme Park, AMC Downtown Disney 24, where you can even dine as you watch the newest blockbuster movie, and Cirque du Soleil - La Nouba. Your daughters will definitely want to check out the stores TrendD and Basin! Follow the link provided to learn more about Downtown Disney. If you will be staying on property and since you are traveling in June, your girls may enjoy "hanging out" at your Resort Pool and watching a "Movie Under the Stars" at your Disney Resort. My daughter especially enjoys a relaxing evening at our Disney Resort during the summer months. There are two miniature golf courses on Disney property: Disney's Fantasia Gardens and Disney's Winter Summerland. Disney's Boardwalk promises to be a fun experience for guests of all ages with street performers, food vendors, midway games, and surrey bike rentals. My family enjoys visiting Disney's Polynesian Resort in the evenings and grabbing a Dole Whip at Capt. Cook's and then heading out to the Polynesian Beach to watch the Electrical Water Pageant followed by Wishes Nighttime Spectacular!  I hope I have given you a few suggestions that you and your daughters are interested in.  Please feel free to write back with any other questions you may have regarding your Walt Disney World Vacation. Best wishes for a Magical Trip, Cathy!
    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
