My hubby and I are bringing our niece who just turned 12 to Disney for her first time. We purchased 3 day park hopper pass but not sure of the best way to utilize it. suggestions for which parks and activities she would enjoy most would be great! Thanks

    HI Stephanie,

I have 12 year old twin girls. They have many attractions which interest them at all four of Disney's theme parks. And despite the fact that they're twins, they like totally different things at the parks. For example, one of them LOVES Tower of Terror and Rock n' Roller Coaster when we go to Disney's Hollywood Studios, while the other is petrified of these thrill rides but will sit through several showings of the Little Mermaid performance with me. This is a long way of saying that how much time you'll need at each park depends a bit on what your niece's interests are. My suggestion is to have her look at the WDW website or a Disney travel guide. Have her tell you what her top 10 things to do are, then you'll be able to best budget your time.

Another factor that may influence your touring is where you want to eat. Again, the WDW website and Disney travel guides can help inform your decision.

In general, I'll say the most people can get one to two full days of entertainment from the Magic Kingdom. The other parks can be visited in anything from half a day to two full days, depending on your interests.

Please write back and let us know if your niece prefers thrills, gentle rides, shows, characters, fireworks, etc. and we can give you more ideas about a specific itinerary.
