Hi, Jessica! This is a really great question, so I am glad you stopped by today. The last couple of days have been quite exciting, with the opening of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I have had many friends at the park enjoying this new attraction and I cannot wait to experience it myself soon!
One important tip I want to share with you is to check your
My Disney Experience mobile app for updates to the park schedule in the days leading up to your visit, especially that night before as you head to bed. The park hours may change at any time. You may find that you can sneak in a quick ride before your breakfast! If they are still using
boarding groups for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, then you do need to be in the park to join a group.
Okay, let's chat about your breakfast. Once you arrive at the park and go through security's bag check area, proceed to the entrance area and look for a line to the far left dedicated to those with breakfast reservations. If they do stick with a strict 8:00 a.m. opening, then the Cast Members will likely let those with the earliest reservations go through the entrance a few minutes prior. However, I will say that in my experience (twice in the last couple of weeks), Cast Members welcomed all guests onto Hollywood Boulevard well in advance of the posted opening time. Those of us without reservations were held close to the Chinese Theater (hurray for early morning Starbucks at
Trolley Car Cafe!), while those with breakfast reservations were directed to
Hollywood & Vine. So, I do recommend that you arrive early for your breakfast so you can scope out the scene!
Thanks so much for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
