HS extra magic hours on May 3 is 8-9am currently. I'm on property and as the rules currently are with rise of the resistance boarding passes. Will I be able to get mine at 8am or 9am? Thank you Jim

Bright suns, Jim! Are you ready to be immersed in an epic battle between the First Order and the Resistance? Which side will you choose? If Rey asks you to "ignite the spark," she's hoping you'll accept the mission and respond with "light the fire!"

Currently, the virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is not available during Extra Magic Hours. Guests who are already in the Park during Extra Magic Hours will be able to join a Boarding Group via the My Disney Experience app as soon as the Park opens to regular day guests. Just make sure that everyone in your traveling party is scanned into Disney's Hollywood Studios prior to 9:00 AM, as the Boarding Groups are usually distributed within a few minutes of opening. Depending on what Boarding Group you are assigned to, you may wish to leave the Park and return later in the day. Just make sure push notifications are enabled on your phone, as this is how the app will notify you when your Boarding Group is ready. Only the ancients know if the ride's operating procedures will be the same during your trip, so keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the Park Hours calendar as your departure dates get closer.

May the Force be with you, Jim!

I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
