Howdy y'all! Zac here, a lifelong WDW fan who hasn't been back in ages (4 years). With no kiddos for now, my husband & I can be flexible. What time of the year, what length of stay, & which days would you recommend?

Hi, Zac! Thanks so much for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

For me, one of the most magical times of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort is in the late fall. The weather is typically wonderful, and the special events are top-notch. You absolutely can't go wrong with the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, which ran for 75 days in 2018 (from Aug. 30 to Nov. 12). While dates for 2019 probably won't be announced until this spring, they've consistently fallen within that window. With dozens of Global Marketplaces offering one-of-a-kind delicacies, you'll definitely want to pack your stretchy pants! In addition to the glorious food, some of your favorite bands from the 80s and 90s perform live at dozens of performances during the Eat to the Beat concert series!

Fall is also a wonderful time to head over to Magic Kingdom Park for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Pick up sweet treats around the Park while you encounter some of your favorite Disney Characters, enjoy lower wait times for iconic attractions, and experience some of the best entertainment Walt Disney World Resort has to offer.

Typically within a week of hosting the final night of his Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Mickey Mouse and crew magically transform Magic Kingdom Park into a winter wonderland as they prepare for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, held on select nights in November and December.

Time your visit right, and you can enjoy all three of these phenomenal events that truly make Walt Disney World Resort the Most Magical Place on Earth. Keep me posted on your plans!
