Howdy! We will be visting WaltDisney world Dec. 27, 2009-Jan. 2, 2010. I have been many times but my mother-in-law has only been to the magic kingdom. What are some things that we should do? We are all adults in our group. Thanks!!!

    Hi,
Kayla!  This is an exciting and busy time to be at Walt Disney World, but the holiday season brings out all kinds of magic, so I'm glad you're able to be here during this time of year.

One of the things some people with children don't get to take full advantage of is the phenomenal entertainment at EPCOT.  I'd say that's one thing you should make it a point to do.  Each of the countries in the World Showcase features some type of performance, and honestly, it's one of the best things here!  You'll find an amazing band called Off Kilter at the Canada pavilion, who feature a bagpipe prominently in their performance; and the acrobats at the Chinese pavilion are truly amazing.  Morocco has a rock band with a definitely Middle Eastern flair, and you might even find time for the pipe and drum corp at the American pavilion.

There are some behind the scenes tours you might look into, including a Segway tour, and a tour that includes the mysterious underground beneath the Magic Kingdom.  You can find information about the tours under the PLAN tab at www.disneyworld.com .

Enjoy resort hopping to check out the holiday decorations, which include a full sized gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian and an amazing chocolate and gingerbread scene at the Boardwalk.

There are some awesome attractions that are not to be missed, especially if you are thrill ride seekers.  Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, and Expedition Everest are loaded with thrills and excitement.  And don't forget to check out the newly refurbished Space Mountain.

I hope your vacation is absolutely amazing!
