Howdy! I am trying to plan some "down time" for our upcoming Disney trip and was wondering...are the DVC community room accessible to non-DVC folks?

Howdy, partner! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Layla, I think it is a great idea to schedule in some down time during your next Walt Disney World vacation. There are so many fabulous ways to relax at Disney Resort hotels and Disney Deluxe Villa resorts.  It is so nice to be able to recuperate from long days in the parks by lounging around the pool, renting surrey bikes, and playing games and making crafts in the resort Community Hall. Community Halls can be found in several Disney Deluxe Villa resorts to include Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village, Disney’s BoardWalk Villas, Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort, and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa.

If you are staying at one of these Deluxe Villa resorts, you are welcome to make use of the Community Hall, even if you are not a Disney Vacation Club member. Most amenities and activities are complimentary for resort guests, but some may require a fee.  Enjoy a game of ping-pong, foosball, air hockey or exercise those creative muscles with some arts and crafts. Game and activity selections will vary between Community Halls, but I have always found them to be well equipped for hours of fun!

I hope that you have a root tootin' good time in The Most Magical Place on Earth. Please stop back by if we can help answer any more of your vacation questions.
