Amy,
Aw shucks, it was plum kind of you to ask us a question at the ol' planDisney roundup!
The
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is an absolute
"Must Do!" event for my family. My girls were over the moon when they heard it would return in time for our next visit! I have even been lucky enough to be pulled on stage for some theatrics, and let's just say that an Oscar is not in my future.
At this time Disney has not yet announced the performance times for the Revue when it opens. But historically they have enjoyed 2-3 showings daily, typically starting at 4:00 pm, 6:15 pm, and 8:30 pm. While I have no insider information, I cannot imagine that the performances will vary too far from those times.
BONUS TIP #1Any seat at the Revue is a good seat. The music carries well, and you can see the stage from just about anywhere in the theater. However, if you can swing it I highly recommend bumping up to Category 1 seating. While the entertainers do a great job of working the entire room, you just feel more like part of the show.
BONUS TIP #2Before the show you often have some time to explore the resort area. If you can, visit the nearby
Settlement Trading Post. I have found a few unique souvenirs there that speak to our National Parks in a wonderfully nostalgic way.
Write me back if you have any follow-up questions.
Have a Magical Vacation!
