Glenda,
I am waiting for an official reply on the corking fee question, but my initial thought is that you can bring wine into most Disney restaurants and have it opened for a corking fee.
HOWEVER, I am pretty sure that alcohol is not allowed at all inside the Magic Kingdom. They certainly don't sell it anywhere in that park, so I would expect it will be a qualified yes, with that park being a no.
FYI, if you are vinophile (I only know that word because my Dad was one!), there are a few great locations I can recommend. Also, did you know that Walt Disney World employs more sommeliers that any other single location IN THE WORLD?
- California Grill - Great selection, mostly from (duh!) California.
- Jiko - The single largest South African wine list in the nation, with most available by the glass
- The Wave - All screw-top wine list
Ask me a question again in about 2 weeks, and I should have a more official answer by then about the corking fee.
FYI, it has been way more than 40 times. Had to tone the number down so as not to scare my wife!
Have a magical vacation!
