Howdy. We want to miniature golf at the Fantasia course on a "non-park" day during our upcoming trip in February. Where can you park for this activity now that the Swan Reserve is open? Thanks.

Hi there, Brenda!  Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney.

I'm glad to hear you are planning a "non-park" day during your vacation.  I think taking a day off from the theme parks to enjoy some of the other activities Walt Disney World Resort has to offer is really the way to go.

So, I had to do a little digging for you regarding parking options for Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf.  The last time my family and I went there we walked over from Disney's Yacht Club Resort.  I called to speak with someone at the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve, and I also verified parking information with a Cast Member at the Rest & Recreation number (407-WDW-PLAY), who graciously called over to Fantasia Gardens for me to confirm.  Now that the Swan Reserve is open, the parking areas near Fantasia Gardens are all part of the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin properties.  You are welcome to park there, however, there is a parking charge which is currently $29.00 plus tax. (Prices subject to change without notice.)

Spending more to park than to play miniature golf didn't sit well with me, so I brainstormed some other options for you to get to Fantasia Gardens:

    • Use a ride-share service to be dropped off at Fantasia Gardens.  Of course, there is a fee for ride-share service, and round trip transportation with tip could be as much or more than the parking fee.
    • Use complimentary Disney resort transportation to reach one of the nearby hotels, such as the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, Disney's BoardWalk Inn, or Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, and walk to Fantasia Gardens from there.
    • Drive or use complimentary resort transportation to Disney's Hollywood Studios, and then walk to Fantasia Gardens.  Alternately, use water transportation from Disney's Hollywood Studios to one of the nearby hotels and walk from there.
    • Make a dining reservation at one of the nearby resort hotels.  Day Guests must have a confirmed reservation for complimentary self-parking at Disney Resorts Collection hotels while enjoying their meal, for a period of up to three hours.  I think you would probably have time to dine and get in a round of miniature golf.

Lastly, if none of those options will work for you, I suggest visiting Winter Summerland Miniature Golf.  This location shares a parking lot with Blizzard Beach, and there is no fee to park.

I hope that helps!  Please let us know if you have any other questions.  Wishing you a wonderful vacation!
