Aloha Lauren, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I’m excited to see that you’ll be lounging in the
lazy river and enjoying a
Mickey shave ice in just a few days! So let’s make sure you’re all set with the app so you don’t miss any of your prebooked fun.
In my experience,
dining and
spa reservations only show up under My Plans in the
Aulani Resort Mobile App if you booked directly through the app. To do that, press the Aulani icon at the bottom of the screen (to the right of the house icon). From the drop-down menu at the top, you can choose Dining or Spa & Fitness. Under Dining, you can pick
Makahiki or
‘AMA’AMA. On their respective pages, you’ll see a Make Reservation button. Under Spa & Fitness, pick Laniwai for a similar Make a Reservation button. You may need to link your hotel reservation before it lets you make a spa reservation.
If you made your current reservations through the Aulani website, you can try calling Guest Services at 808-674-6300 to see if it’s possible to link them to your account. In my Laniwai Spa email confirmation from earlier this year, it mentioned calling that phone number if you’re not seeing your reservation under My Plans in the app.
The Laniwai Spa is one of my favorite places, so be sure to arrive about an hour early, or plan to stay after your spa treatment, so you have plenty of time to enjoy the Kula Wai hydrotherapy garden. It's a relaxing oasis of shaded lounge chairs, soaking pools, and a reflexology path. I could spend all day there!
There’s so much fun to be had at Aulani, I totally get wanting to see all of your reservations and must-dos in one place. When I was there in June, I discovered a feature in the app where you can easily view all of the activities you’d like to attend. After linking your hotel reservation, go into the Daily Activities schedule, click on specific offerings, and press Add to Plans. That’ll add the activity to a list where you can see everything you want to do that day. I also like to look at the schedule before my stay to get an idea of which activities are typically offered and when. Keep in mind that each day’s
character meet-and-greets don’t appear in the schedule until the morning (I've noticed that it’s usually between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.).
Safe travels to Hawaii, and I’m wishing you the most magical stay at Aulani this month! If you have any other questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney.
