Are the housekeepers at Disney Springs resorts called Mousekeepers? Thanks

Hi Brandy!  Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It is my understanding that "Mousekeeping" and "Mousekeeper" are affectionate terms and not official titles.  Since this is the case for Disney Resort Hotels I would think the official job title at the nationally branded hotels of Disney Springs would simply be "housekeeper".  I am guessing that you might be preparing tip envelopes in advance of your trip.  Leaving a daily tip for your housekeeper is a thoughtful and much appreciated gesture for these hard-working men and women.

Even though it may not be an official title, I think the term "Mousekeeper" is well understood in the general vicinity of Walt Disney World Resort.  If you choose to address housekeepers this way, I doubt anyone would be confused or taken aback.  I'm sure your housekeeper will happily accept your kindness no matter which term you use.

I hope that helps!  Please let us know if you have any additional questions as you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  Enjoy!
