Is House of Blues still doing the Sunday Gospel Brunch? Coming in May 2022 and hopeful to see it!

    Hi Jaynee,

Welcome back! I may have moved from Indiana to Virginia since we last corresponded, but I'll always be a Hoosier at heart and am thrilled to see your name pop up here again at planDisney! HOORAY for another magical Walt Disney World Resort visit! While some things may feel a little different under the phased reopening, I'm happy to share that the magic is very much alive and ready for YOU!

The House of Blues Sunday Gospel Brunch is on the top of my Disney bucket list. My family had planned to experience it at the end of 2019, but our plans changed and we needed to head back home Sunday morning instead of letting that be the grand finale of our vacation. Unfortunately, our whole world changed in 2020 and the Sunday Gospel Brunch is not currently available. I noticed on the House of Blues website that you can sign up for updates specifically related to its return, but we'll have to keep wishing on a star for a bit longer to experience this soul-stirring event. I did notice, though, that House of Blues is currently offering a weekend brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 10 am - 2 pm. While it's possible to make reservations directly from Disney's website up to 60 days in advance for noon or later, you'll find additional brunch hours available directly on the House of Blues website or through Open Table. While it might not be the Sunday Gospel Brunch you and I both can't wait to experience, the menu sounds delicious and I'm sure the live music will be wonderful!

Thanks so much for coming to see us again at planDisney, Jaynee, and please feel free to keep your fantastic questions coming. I hope you have a truly magical vacation next month that's full of beloved traditions and discoveries of new favorites!
