Hi Rochelle! You're so sweet to be helping your friend plan her Disney vacation! My eight-year-old daughter adores the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, so I think a trip there is sure to be a hit with your friend's daughter. The makeover itself takes about an hour. The Fairy-Godmothers-In-Training style the little princesses' hair and apply makeup. The hairstyle and makeup definitely lasts all day, unless of course, you go swimming. My own daughter is usually so enamored with her new look that she wants to wear it a second day too. The Fairy-Godmothers-In-Training use a lot (I mean a whole lot!) of gel, so the hairstyle can last for a second day, although it won't look as neat as the first day and may need a little smoothing and adjusting in the morning. At the end of the makeover, the little princess receives her makeup to take home with her, so she can reapply it the next day if she likes. Of course, she receives a crown or hair accessories too, so even when the hairstyle is gone, she can still wear her tiara or hair extensions.
I imagine you're asking this question because you're trying to determine how long after a boutique appointment you can schedule a meal with the princesses at Cinderella's Royal Table or one of the other princess meals. The makeover looks best the first day, so I'd recommend doing the makeover and the meal on the same day, but if that's not possible, booking the meal for the next day is certainly doable.
