Hi Kelly,
It is great to see you here again at planDisney! Thanks for bringing another question to us. Though your Disney Cruise Line vacation is on the far horizon, I'm glad you are planning now!
Operating hours for
"it's a small world" nursery! vary daily, so check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator mobile app or visit the nursery once you board the ship. However, you can
make reservations once your booking window opens (varies by
Castaway Club status) before your cruise. You may book up to 10 hours of babysitting and you will see some of the operating hours at that point.
Generally, the nursery hosts an Open House for the first few hours that Guests are on board; you can reserve more babysitting hours during this time. I highly recommend visiting during the Open House so you and your little one can get acquainted with the staff and the space. I have to tell you, "it's a small world" nursery! aboard the
Disney Wish is nothing short of enchanting! On that first day, the nursery typically closes for a couple of hours and reopens later in the afternoon or evening. During the rest of your cruise days, the nursery may open as early as 8:00 a.m. and stays open as late as midnight. The nursery is usually
available on port days, too. But again, this varies, so check the app or with the nursery staff for exact hours.
Kelly, I can't wait for your little one to experience all the wonder aboard the Disney Wish! If
Character Greetings are in your plans, make sure to check your Navigator app for times and locations. Once you find your favorites, select the heart icon next to each one, and the app will send you a reminder about 15 minutes before the experience begins. Characters may visit the nursery, too, so if your child is not a fan of these encounters, be sure to let the staff know.
I hope this helps you make your plans, Kelly. Please sail by again if you have other questions; we are always delighted to help!
Wishing you many magical moments,
Shannon
