Greetings, Novalinda, and welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit, and it sounds like you're looking forward to spending time in iconic
Magic Kingdom Park. I heartily approve of this plan! I'll be happy to help you find the park hours so you can soak up all the pixie dust during your trip, so let's bibbidi-bobbidi-DO this!
My favorite way to check
theme park hours online is to hover over the "Parks" tab at the top and select "Park Hours & Schedules." This method lets you view one day at a time or a five-day window. Plus, you can focus on specific theme park schedules, making it a handy planning tool.
Looking at September 9, which is just around the riverbend, I see Magic Kingdom opens to guests staying at select resorts at 8:30 AM, and for all other guests at 9:00 AM. Be sure to double-check if your hotel is on the
Early Theme Park Entry list; I'm waving my Fairy Godmother wand that you'll get to start your day with the morning sun!
I don't see any special events that day, such as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so the park will remain open to general guests until 10:00 PM. That's a lot of time to make some magic! Guests staying at qualifying Deluxe Resorts will be able to enjoy
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours at Magic Kingdom until midnight that night.
Even without a Halloween event that evening, I hope you take in all the
autumn decor and pumpkin fun along Main Street, USA. There are also plenty of fall-themed treats available during regular park hours, so check out this
Disney Park Blog article for more details. I favor light desserts, so I can't wait to try the S'mores Cup at
Columbia Harbour House. Graham-cracker crust and marshmallow ghosts? Say less!
Novalinda, I'm wishing on a full harvest moon that your upcoming vacation is spooktacular! Please feel free to stop by
planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
