    After hours on Disney app

Howdy, Lea, and thanks for stopping by planDisney! You'll be walking "right down the middle of Main Street, USA" any second now, so get ready for that Disney magic. It sounds like you might be interested in a Disney After Hours event, so let's look at how you can check for this and other experiences in your My Disney Experience mobile app

To check the Walt Disney World Resort calendar on your app, select "Park Hours & Info" under the Plan Your Next Visit section on the Welcome screen. Tap on the date you'd like to check, and the theme park hours will be listed below the calendar.

I just did a test run and saw that Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are available on April 10 at Magic Kingdom Park for guests of Deluxe Resorts. If this is the after-hours event you're interested in, and you're staying at a hotel in the deluxe category, you can enjoy some time at Magic Kingdom after-hours from 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM. You don't need to purchase an extra theme park admission to enjoy that time in the park; just be sure your hotel reservation is linked to your account when you scan in.

The calendar also shows a Disney After Hours event at Disney's Hollywood Studios on April 10. This is a special ticketed event from 9:30 PM to 12:30 AM. You can purchase a ticket on your mobile app by selecting "Buy Tickets & Passes" on the Welcome screen and scrolling down to "Special Event Tickets." When I checked, tickets were available for the April 10 after-hours event. Although the event begins at 9:30 PM, my tip is that you can enter Disney's Hollywood Studios as early as 7:00 PM with this ticket for extra pixie dust in the park!

This theme park has one of my favorite attractions: Slinky Dog Dash! I love being transformed into a toy in Andy's room, and when Slinky tells me to "Hang on," you better believe I do! And Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is just a short stroll away from Toy Story Land, even though it feels like a galaxy far, far away.

Lea, I hope I've answered your question about some nighttime fun you can experience at Walt Disney World Resort. Have a fabulous visit, and please stop by planDisney again.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
