Howdy Amanda!
Thanks for stopping by
planDisney, where you will find the rootinest tootinest Disney vacation enthusiasts this side of Walt Disney World! I am so glad that you decided to stop by with your question, and it would be my pleasure to help round up some recommendations for you. It sounds like you are ready to blast off to infinity and beyond with a visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth. With so many incredible accommodations to choose from, you are sure to find one that is just right for you and your family of six.
Since you are a family of six, I highly recommend a
Deluxe Villa in one of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts. Not only will you love the extra space these accommodations provide, but also the fabulous amenities, such as the fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer. Most 2-Bedroom Villas will sleep up to eight adults. Depending on your family's sleeping arrangements, a 1-Bedroom Villa might suit your family as well.
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort are an additional option for large families who choose not to stay in a Disney Vacation Club Resort.
When choosing a Disney Resort hotel or Disney Vacation Club Resort, I always consider location first. If you want to be close to
Magic Kingdom Park, opting for a monorail resort, such as
Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and
The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, is a great way to go. You will also be able to take the
monorail transportation to
EPCOT. If you plan to spend more time in
Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT, you may want to select an EPCOT resort such as
Disney’s Beach Club Villas. The resort closest to
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas –
Kidani Village or
Jambo House.
I hope this information helps you find the perfect resort for you and your family. You've got a friend in us here at planDisney, so stop back by any time we can lasso an answer to your Disney vacation questions.
