When are hotels and tickets available to book for Disneyland california september 2026?

Hi Shelley! Welcome to planDisney. 2026 will be here before you know it, and I’m happy to help you prepare for a visit to the Disneyland Resort!

Vacation packages and hotel rates for 2026 will likely be released around August 2025. While a specific date hasn’t been announced just yet, this timeline can shift, so I recommend keeping a close eye on the Disney Parks Blog. It’s the go-to source for updates on vacation packages, special events, and other seasonal surprises.

Theme park tickets and reservations can typically be made up to 180 days in advance, though that window is always subject to change. Since you're planning for September 2026, it’s a great idea to start checking for availability around March 5, 2026. The Theme Park Tickets page on the Disneyland website will offer the most up-to-date information. Booking early not only gives you peace of mind; it also sets the stage for a picture-perfect fall getaway.

And Shelley, since your visit falls during September, you'll be arriving just as the Disneyland Resort transforms into a Halloween wonderland. One of my favorite autumn sights is the giant Mickey pumpkin that greets Guests in Town Square. It's a must-snap photo op, both during the day and when it's glowing warmly in the evening! Main Street dazzles with festive bunting and pumpkin displays tucked into every corner. (Look closely at the windows, you’ll spot some with fun Disney carvings!).

Over in Disneyland Park, Haunted Mansion Holiday opens in early September, with Jack Skellington taking over to deliver a delightfully spooky spin on a classic attraction. You’ll also enjoy the festive touches scattered throughout the parks. And don’t miss the pumpkin-spiced churros and seasonal snacks. Disneyland goes all out with themed treats that taste just like fall!

As you plan your park days, Shelley, I recommend checking out the Lightning Lane Multi Pass. It’s a helpful way to reserve return times for popular attractions, giving you more time to enjoy all the seasonal magic around you. You can purchase it in advance or on the day of your visit. Just open the Disneyland app after entering the park to begin reserving.

I hope this helps you as you plan your 2026 Disneyland adventure, Shelley! If you have more questions or want help fine-tuning your itinerary, we’d love to welcome you back to planDisney.

Wishing you a visit full of happiness, pumpkins, and unforgettable moments,

    David
