Hi All the hotels look great but would like some ideas. I have a 12 year old boy and want a hotel with something different and fun to expereince - a delux hotel would be great to go with the dining plan.

    Hi Tracy,

All the deluxe resorts have wonderful themeing and amenities. In my opinion, there are two deluxe hotels that have a real "wow" factor for boys: the Beach Club and the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

At the AKL, you can get savanna rooms which overlook animal grazing areas. It truly is amazing to sit on your balcony with a cup of coffee and watch giraffes and zebras graze just feet away from you. This experience cannot be replicated.

The Beach Club has by far the best pool at WDW. There is a sandy bottom area where you can make castles, two water slides, a lazy river for floating, and other features as well. The Beach Club is also just a five minute walk away from Epcot. This allows you to stroll through the restaurants and attractions in the World Showcase and then be cozy in your bed moments later.

Another good option for boys is the Wilderness Lodge. The lobby has soaring timbers like your in the world's biggest log cabin.

But again, you really can't go wrong with any of the deluxe resorts. They're all spectacular.

    Enjoy!
