What are the hotels that help w/private babysitting in the rooms & would a babysitter be available in the very early mornings of race weekend? I'm coming w/2 children to DL for the Tinkerbell races and need a sitter for Fri-Sun mornings.

    Hi Jaclyn!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm familiar with the third party service offered at Walt Disney World, Kid's Nite Out, but I wasn't aware of an option for Disneyland Resort so I had to do a little digging!

At Disneyland Resort, the three Disney owned hotels, Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, Disneyland Hotel and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will provide you a list of childcare services upon check-in if you ask. They ask that you sign a waiver stating that you understand that they are third party services and not Disney affiliated so unfortunately this cannot be accessed prior to your trip. You could certainly obtain this list from them upon your arrival, but I'm sure they will be rather busy with it being a race weekend so you may want to have something set up prior to your arrival. The Cast Member I spoke with said that many Guests for runDisney events will search online for care options and find their own, but unlike Walt Disney World there is not a single service that is recommended. I know others that have used a search engine like Care.com to find certified childcare professionals where they can read reviews, but unfortunately I don't have any first hand experience to share with you on that.

Please let me know if you have any other questions before your race and I'm sending pixie dust your way!
