Hello, Ariel, and welcome to planDisney!
I'm sure you are looking forward to your visit to Walt Disney World Resort next month. Disney is strongly recommending Guests use
Online Check-In to aid in social distancing efforts and avoid delays. I love using Online Check-In when our family visits Walt Disney World. Skipping the Front Desk and heading directly to our room after a long drive down to the Most Magical Place on Earth is a welcome relief.
You can begin the online check-in process now on
disneyworld.com or with the
My Disney Experience app. As you complete your online check-in you can select your arrival time. While an early check-in is not guaranteed, selecting an early arrival time will let the Cast Members know you're eager to get into your room. Remember to bring your
MagicBand with you or set up the
Unlock Door feature on your smartphone.
If you have a credit card on file there's also no need to stop by the Front Desk to
check out of your room. Simply leave your room any time before 11:00 a.m. on the morning of your departure. Disney will send an email with any itemized hotel charges or you can view your charges on the My Disney Experience app. And if you're not leaving town immediately, you can store your luggage with Bell Services.
Ariel, please let us know if we can help you with any other vacation questions before your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
Have a magical day!
Bob
