what are the hotels closest to magic kingdom besides the wilderness resort

Hi Beth!   Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am so glad you stopped by with your vacation planning question.  Three Disney Resort hotels are located directly on the Magic Kingdom monorail loop.   These Resorts include;  Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa Disney's Contemporary Resort, and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.  You can even walk to the Magic Kingdom from Disney's Contemporary Resort.  The next closest in proximity would be Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, which are both accessible by water taxi from Magic Kingdom.   I have stayed at all of these lovely Disney Resort hotels and each one is amazing.    If you are trying to decide which is right for you family I suggest you look at the website for each Resort and choose which appeals to you the most.

If you have any additional questions as you plan your magical getaway, just let us know.   We love to help Guests have the most magical time possible on a Walt Disney World vacation.
