    Which hotels are closest to Animal Kingdom park?

    If you'd like to be near the Animal Kingdom theme park, you can't get any closer than the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It is divided into two sections - the original Jambo House, and the newer Kidani Village, which offers vacation villas. Both are very nice, and my family counts this as one of our favorite Disney resorts.

    If a deluxe resort is not in your budget, your next closest option is the value resort grouping of All-Star Music, Movies, and Sports. There is very little difference between the three, and I suggest you pick based on the theming you like best. We prefer Sports.

    If you'd like to step up to a moderate resort level, then Coronado Springs will get you closest to the AK park. It's also the most upscale of the moderate resorts, and has been recently refurbished.
