What hotels are close to Epcot?

Hiya Amy! I'm thrilled you've stopped by the planDisney clubhouse with your question! Here, we love Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse polka dots, and using our Mousketools to help you plan your vacation!

Oh boy, you are asking about one of my favorite topics: Resort hotels! I love exploring the Resort hotels as much as visiting the theme parks, and some of my favorites are the ones closest to EPCOT. So let's Mickey Mouse march right to your question because it sounds like you've got some vacation planning to do!

Each of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels offers its unique charm, dining options, proximity to the parks, and transportation services to the theme parks.

Let's begin with the Resort hotels located in the BoardWalk area. Surrounding Crescent Lake, you'll find three Deluxe hotels: Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Disney's Beach Club Resort, and Disney's Yacht Club. These hotels are within walking distance of EPCOT or accessible via a quick complimentary boat ride. As Deluxe category hotels, these resorts provide Guests with access to Early Theme Park Entry and, on select nights, Extended Evening Theme Park Hours at one of the theme parks after regular park closing hours. The close proximity of these hotels makes it easy and convenient to visit each property. I recently stayed in Disney's BoardWalk Inn. This hotel has beautifully updated rooms, and I love the pool. I'm also a big fan of the iconic Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney's Beach Club. All I had to do was hop on a boat to cross the lake and enjoy my favorite ice cream sundae!

Also close to EPCOT are the Walt Disney World Dolphin, Swan, and Swan Reserve. These hotels are very nice, and I stay here several times a year myself, but please note that these are not Disney-owned hotels.

While not within walking distance of EPCOT, you'll find that the Resort hotels on the Disney Skyliner route are very convenient for visiting EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, too. These hotels can range from Deluxe to Value categories and are only a Disney Skyliner ride away from all EPCOT offers. I'm including the link HERE for these hotels.

Amy, as you are choosing which Resort hotel is right for you, take some time to click on the links for each of these hotels. If you have any questions about these Resort hotels or just want some recommendations, don't hesitate to reach out to me. Resort hopping is one of my favorite pastimes!

I don't know if you know this, but you'll be visiting during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. This is one of my favorite festivals! Spring is in the air, the landscape is full of color and beautiful blooms of flowers, and you'll find some of the freshest foods at the outdoor kitchens that are only around for a limited time. I hope you'll have time to explore all this festival has to offer.

Thanks for stopping by with your question. You're as welcome as can be at planDisney for all your magical questions.

    Have a Mickey-riffic day!
