When will 2019 hotel rooms (NOT DVC!) for Disney's Aulani resort be released and available to book? Hoping to in March 2019 and would like to have the best room selection! Thanks.

Hi, Christina! Hawaii is an absolutely magical place all on its own, but then Disney Vacation Club saw a way to make paradise just a little more perfect.

Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa, is inspired by the wonders of this beautiful place and the rich tradition of the people of Hawaii. With activities and fun for every age, it's a great family vacation destination.

There's a very popular phrase in Honolulu - "Hawaiian Time". It means arriving late for an event. For people planning an Aulani vacation, Hawaiian Time can be a little frustrating. For non-DVC bookings, you can usually find the calendar for dates into next year open up at some point over the summer. Historically speaking, I've seen it open anywhere from mid-July to mid-August, but you want to make an occasional check online to see if the calendar is open yet. I did double check, and it is still only available to book through December as of today, but the cast member said it should be in the next few weeks that you can book into 2019.

Don't forget to include some incredible Aulani dining experiences during your stay. If you'll be traveling with children, Makahiki - The Bounty of the Islands has a character breakfast that even grown ups will love. And for that special evening, enjoy a stunning sunset as you immerse yourself in the flavors of Hawaii at 'Ama'Ama

Have an absolutely wonderful vacation to this tropical paradise, Christine! Mahalo.
