Howdy Abigail!
I love it when a fellow Texan visits planDisney! I’m happy to talk all things Disney with you!
I absolutely LOVE
staying in the magic of Disney Resorts Collection hotels. The legendary service, the incredible storytelling that immerses you into the magic, and benefits like
Early Theme Park Entry are just a few reasons my family loves staying at Disney Resort hotels. I completely understand, however, that plans change, and as much as I want you to experience the enchantment of Walt Disney World Resort, I’ve had my own share of rescheduled trips. I hope it makes you feel better to know that when it comes to a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, it’s never a goodbye but more of a “See ya soon, pal.”
Abigail, if you booked a
Vacation Package with a Disney Resort hotel room and theme park tickets, you can cancel the package up to 30 days from your arrival date for a full refund. If you cancel from 2 to 29 days, there is a $200 cancelation fee, though prices are subject to change. Unfortunately, canceling the day before or on the day of your arrival is non-refundable.
If you have booked a Room-Only Reservation, you can cancel the Resort hotel room up to 5 days before for a full refund. However, if you’re between 0-4 days, you will lose the cost of your deposit amount paid when you first booked. Please note prices are subject to change.
Depending on the reservation type, you may be able to cancel or modify it online through your My Disney Experience account. To check, please follow these steps:
-Head to the
My Disney Experience page.
-Hover over the
My Disney Experience logo on the top right corner.
-This will direct you to log into your account.
-Next, select
My Plans from the drop-down menu.
-Under the
My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets section, locate your reservation information.
-Located to the right of your reservation information, you should see a
Change Reservation option that you will want to select.
-If your reservation can be canceled online, you’ll see a link for
Cancel Reservation.
If this isn’t the case, you must have a Cast Member look into your account to assist you by calling
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic when you’re ready, Abigail!
