Can hotel reservations and park tickets be used for another visit if I have to cancel my trip?

    Hi Tram,

Welcome to planDisney! I’m sorry you may need to cancel your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Let’s go over the options you have.

According to the Walt Disney Travel Company Terms and Conditions for Walt Disney World Resort, you should be able to change your travel dates subject to availability. If there is any increase in prices for your new dates, you will be subject to paying the difference in cost. If you make any changes to your hotel room and ticket package 30 days or less before your arrival date, you will be charged a $50.00 change fee per package.

If you decide to cancel your package, you must cancel 30 days or more before your arrival to receive a full refund of the amount you have paid, subject to cancellation fees from third parties if applicable. If you cancel 2 days to 29 days prior to your arrival, you will be refunded minus a $200.00 cancellation fee per package. For cancellations made 1 day or less prior to your arrival, you will not receive a refund.

Whether you decide to change your travel dates or cancel your trip, I recommend calling the number listed here under “Disney Resort Hotel Reservations” for further assistance from a Cast Member. They can help you find future vacation accommodations that work for your new travel dates and assist in changing your package.

I hope you get to visit Walt Disney World Resort soon, Tram! If you have any future questions as you make new vacation plans, we’re here for you at planDisney!
