Thank you for stopping by planDisney, Kimber! Planning how to make the most of your Disney vacation is a top priority, and I’m happy to help you prepare for a magical visit to the Disneyland Resort.
Speaking of maximizing your trip, the
Lightning Lane Multi Pass is a fantastic way to experience your favorite attractions while still having time to enjoy some delicious Disney snacks. Unfortunately, the Disneyland Resort does not allow guests to schedule Lightning Lanes before entering a theme park. You can only book a Lightning Lane once you have scanned into either
Disneyland or
Disney California Adventure. However, once inside, be sure to pull up the
Disneyland app and reserve your next return time as soon as possible to make the most of your day.
My fellow panelist, Melinda, has an
excellent breakdown of how to plan out your morning. One tip I’d add to her expert advice: take advantage of the lower wait times earlier in the day. The first couple of hours after park opening are a great time to experience popular attractions before the crowds build. Then, as the day progresses, you can use your Lightning Lane Multi Pass to reserve return times and keep the magic going with minimal waits! My family and I always follow this strategy, kicking off our day with a thrilling ride on
Space Mountain.
I also noticed that your visit coincides with the
California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. This festival not only celebrates California’s diverse culinary history but also brings back one of my favorite attractions:
Soarin’ Over California! I highly recommend experiencing this breathtaking journey earlier in the day and then using a Lightning Lane selection for a second flight later on—you won’t want to miss out on the incredible sights, scents, and magic that Soarin’ has to offer.
I hope you have a fantastic visit, Kimber! If you have any other questions as you plan your trip, please don’t hesitate to visit us again here at planDisney.
Have a magical time!
David
