Hi Holly!
Since my husband is in the U.S. Military, there have been occasions that we have had to cancel, or thought we would have to cancel, our trips to the
Walt Disney World Resort. Luckily, for a room-only reservation, you may cancel five or more days prior to your arrival to avoid any cancellation penalty. If you have to cancel your reservation closer to your trip, you will lose your deposit.
If you do have to cancel your reservation, sign in to your
My Disney Experience Account, and go to "My Reservations and Tickets." You will see your resort reservation listed there. If you are able to cancel online, you will see a link that says "Cancel Reservation." If you have a reservation that can only be cancelled over the phone, there will be a message on your reservation indicating this. I hope that you don't have to cancel your trip, but it's good to know how to do so--just in case!
Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
