What hotel would be best to stay at with a 3 and 1 y.o? I've been looking at the All-StarPop, PO-Riverside, and Carib. beach. We know all are kid friendly, but are some better for toddler/infants than others considering bus ride times to parks as well?

    Hi Jamie!

Congrats on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World!

For kids in this age range, I highly recommend All Star Movies or the new Art of Animation Resort. They will get a kick out of the amazing theming of these resorts. My kids always loved All Star Movies at this age because they were huge Toy Story fans. They loved the larger than life characters and the decorations in the room. The food court also has a great selection for young, picky eaters (pizza, chicken nuggets, waffles) and the pool is great.

The new Art of Animation Resort is incredible and the theme is around some of the most popular Disney movies, including Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, Cars and The Lion King. This resort also touts the largest pool of all the Disney resorts.

Both of those are in the "Value" resort category, making them a great choice if you are on a budget.

With both of those resorts, you can take advantage of the Walt Disney World transportation bus service, which has about a 10-15 minute ride to the parks.

If you are looking for a resort that is in closer proximity to Magic Kingdom, consider The Polynesian, as it is on the monorail line for both Magic Kingdom and Epcot. You can be at the parks within minutes, which is great if you plan to go back to the room mid-day for the kids nap.

    Magically,
    Stacy
