Hello there, Vlasta! Planning a multi-generational trip to Walt Disney World can be challenging, but the memories you'll make will last a lifetime! I'd be happy to give you some advice to help make your trip go smoothly.
If you have a large family, trying to decide the best option for your home away from home is one of the most important decisions you'll need to make for your trip. When making your Walt Disney World Resort reservation, you can request adjoining rooms (room requests are never guaranteed, but Disney will do their absolute best to accommodate you).
Disney's All-Star Music Family Suites and
Disney's Art of Animation Family Suites are budget-friendly options that will sleep up to six Guests.
If you'd like even more room, consider staying in one of the
Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts. Although these are considered Disney Vacation Club properties, non-members are always welcome to book these accommodations! We stayed in a two-bedroom
Copper Creek Villa at Disney's Wilderness Lodge last month, and it felt glorious to have extra storage space, a full-sized kitchen, and plenty of beds so we could all spread out. For your size travel party, I'd recommend a 3 Bedroom Grand Villa. There are many locations on property, including the soon to be opened
Disney's Riviera Resort.
Alternatively, if "roughing it in comfort" appeals to you, I'd recommend looking into
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Each cabin sleeps six, and they come with modern amenities, including a kitchen. Fort Wilderness Resort has tons of family-friendly recreational activities, and this would provide perfect bonding time for the grandparents and kiddos.
Vlasta, I see you mentioned bringing your triple stroller. Keep in mind that Walt Disney World Resort recently updated their Property Rules, so make sure your
stroller measures less than 31" (79 cm) in width and 52" (132cm). Many Moms Panelists recommend an Orlando based company called A Baby's Best Friend. Their website is user-friendly, and they would be able to rent you a stroller, so you don't have to purchase a new one for your trip. They also handle full-sized crib and Pack-n-Play rentals that they'll deliver right to your Walt Disney World Resort.
Vlasta, have a fantastic trip! If you have any more questions in the meantime, please come back and see us!
