Hi there, are the hot tubs open later than the pools at the Disney Resorts? We are staying at the Boardwalk and were hoping to soak our tired bodies and feet in the hot tub after our first day at the parks. Thank you!

    Hello Lacey,

Thanks for splashing by planDisney with another great question today. My family recently had an incredible stay at Disney's BoardWalk Villas so I can understand your desire to soak off all those theme park steps at one of the resort's beautiful pools at the end of the day. My kids spent plenty of time in the hot tub at Luna Park Pool, even though it was well over 90 degrees each day. I opted for the Keister Coaster waterslide and a refreshing poolside cocktail instead.

I reached out to a Cast Member who confirmed that the resort's pools and pool spas (hot tubs) all close at 11 p.m. each day. The quiet leisure pools typically open a few hours earlier than Luna Park pool, but all the splish-splashing fun comes to an end at the stroke of 11 at each location. Keep in mind that operating hours and lifeguard availability are subject to change depending on weather conditions and other factors. We experienced a brief mid-day shutdown once we started seeing lightning nearby, but we didn't let the storm rain on our parade.

I took a quick look at the upcoming October hours, and though your dates aren't available on the calendar just yet, it looks Magic Kingdom Park will be open the latest, except on dates when Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is scheduled. Again, hours are subject to change, but hopefully, this will give you enough time to enjoy the parks and get back to your resort for a quick soak at the end of the evening. When we're hoping to soothe our tired muscles after logging some magical miles we opt for a cool shower, some gentle stretching, and then quickly tuck into bed with the air conditioning on high. There's no tired like Disney Parks tired so we usually sleep very soundly.

When you wake bright-eyed and bushy-tailed the next morning, you can pop down to Carousel Coffee for your morning brew or maybe even place a Mobile Food order at BoardWalk Deli. We loved everything we tried there, but I'd especially recommend the NJ Crumb Cake. YUM! You can check out the planDisney Pocket Guide for Disney's BoardWalk Inn & Villas for more details on all your nearby dining options.

I hope this helps you plan your most magical day Lacey. If we can be of further assistance please be sure to swim back and let us know.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
