There are so many wonderful options when it comes to the
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels, and although I've stayed at a bunch, I haven't stayed at them all. If someone were to surprise me with one I'd never been to before, I'd lose my mind! Thanks for being so thoughtful with your family. This is going to be an amazing trip, I can tell! Let's plan a surprise worthy of a very merry unbirthday!
If your family members are connected to the reservation and regularly check
My Disney Experience, your choice of Disney hotel would not be a surprise. But that just gives you the opportunity for a different
kind of surprise. Maybe you can send them a series of clues ahead of your trip to help them figure out the resort they're going to be checking into. Maybe you send hints about the resort's theming,
dining,
transportation, or some unique features and have everyone guess. Whether it's a postcard, text message, scavenger hunt, or a small themed gift, the options are truly endless. And remember that classic expression, "It's the thought that counts"? That absolutely applies here. As the Mad Hatter might point out, it can still be a very merry unbirthday, even when everyone knows the party is coming!
And don't forget that there are still ways to surprise them when you get to the resort. You can have them participate in one of the activities available at some resorts, such as the
Colors of Coronado Painting Experience at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort,
a mosaic art experience, or another experience if offered at your resort. While there are plenty of specialty
tours and experiences available throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, these, if available, would be specific to your resort and a fun way to celebrate your stay there! Every Wonderland adventure is full of unexpected discoveries, and your resort stay can be too.
