Welcome to planDisney, Margaret. It's so nice to meet you!
The
dining plans at the
Walt Disney World Resort are so convenient. Being able to prepay for most (if not all) of your meals makes your vacation feel all-inclusive. If your plan includes
table-service dining, all you have to worry about is making those advanced dining reservations and paying gratuities to your servers! But one of my favorite parts is that Resort Refillable Mug, and now that some
merchandise locations offer character handle accessories that you can purchase, they're even more fun! So sip away in style!
Your Resort Refillable Mug is valid for the resort stay associated with your dining plan, which, in your case, is your stay at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. So fill up that mug with all the beverages your heart desires during that first stay. Just remember, though, that you can usually still refill it on the day you check out of your first reservation, as the dining plan typically doesn't expire until midnight that day!
Now, I see that you're visiting the resort in September, which means you'll be there during the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, taking place this year from August 27 to November 21, 2026. There are typically many offerings at the Outdoor Kitchens that you can redeem as snacks on your dining plan. And while the number of meals and snacks is determined by how many nights are included in your stay, you don't have to redeem them that way. For example, if you have 5 snacks to redeem on your plan, you can redeem them all in one day if you'd like. And to me, redeeming them all at those Outdoor Kitchens is my kind of plan! Just check the menus for the dining plan logo to see what items are eligible.
Margaret, enjoy your split stay at the Most Magical Place on Earth. If you have any other questions, feel free to
send them my way!
Happy dining,
Matt
