Rock on, Dorothy! It's so good to see you back at planDisney. Your fall visit is just around the riverbend, so let's talk about one of my favorite events: the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
While I love sampling treats at the Global Marketplaces, I look forward most to the
Eat to the Beat Concert Series. I've seen so many fantastic artists perform there, and it's always a party! I once sang along with Boyz II Men with a gorgeous sunset in the background; talk about magical!
My husband and I have become pros at snagging the same-day quick service dining package at Regal Eagle Smokehouse in the America Adventure Pavilion, so let me share some tips. First, you must be at the restaurant in person to get tickets for the show. You can place a mobile order at Regal Eagle, but you typically can't specify the dining package.
Since some artists are extremely popular, I suggest you head to the restaurant about 45 minutes before its listed opening time. The last time we were there, the Cast Members gave us a badge ensuring we could place our order as soon as they opened. A manager told me that the number of tickets they receive can vary, depending on the artist, so the earlier you can arrive, the better your chances will be.
You'll select your items (I can't wait to try the new
Plant-based Chili Baked Potato!), and then specify which concert time you'd like to attend. If it's still available, you'll receive tickets that will allow you to enter the Dining Package Entrance at America Gardens Theater that evening.
Another option is to
book a table service dining package now to guarantee entry to the concert. You're within the 60-day booking window, so select the restaurant and time you'd like to dine. You also choose the showtime you'd like, either before or after your dining time. I checked online for the week you'll be at EPCOT and saw a few packages are still up for grabs!
