Hi there, James David!
We’re always delighted here at planDisney when you stop by with a question for us!
I’m thrilled to hear you’re going to be visiting Walt Disney World Resort soon! There’s nothing quite like walking through the tunnels of
Magic Kingdom Park as you step onto Main Street, U.S.A. The whimsy of cheerful music plays in the background as you see Guests smiling, some in happy tears, as they catch a glimpse of Cinderella Castle. It’s no wonder we call it The Most Magical Place on Earth.
James David, I’m happy you’re ready to make those
park reservations! Like you, I like to have my days planned out, especially because I want to plan the types of snacks I’ll try each day; bonus points if they’re Mickey-shaped! Typically, park hours are added to the
Calendar about 60 days out. As we speak, October’s hours are being released on a rolling basis!
While you’re planning, this may help you: Because we know there is a special ticketed event,
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, going on during October, I like to check the
event dates because they help me decide if I should visit Magic Kingdom Park on the day of the party or not. This is because Magic Kingdom Park closes earlier on party days.
If you haven’t considered attending the
spooktacular event, it’s
fa-boo-lous! From meeting special characters, trick-or-treating around the park, and seeing my very favorite parade,
Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, it’s an
eek-tastic time, so much so that I’ll be going twice this year! Yippie!
Wishing you an enchanting visit, James David!
