Ahoy, Charlene!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you'll venture out to sea in 2018! There is so much to experience on each of the four vessels, and it is truly a vacation for every age and family type!
Dining is one of my favorite parts of cruising with Disney because of its
rotational dining and themed dining venues! I was the eater you are describing when I first began cruising many yEARs ago, and I was happy to find out that all eating preferences are accommodated onboard with options like Grilled Grain-Fed Sirloin Steak, Slow Roasted Breast of Chicken and Oven Baked Filet of Salmon with garden vegetables, seasoned white rice and baked potatoes on the menu each evening. But, with that being said, I was also happy to learn that I could order anything off the menu to try since all food in the main dining rooms is included in your cruise fare. If I didn't like something I ordered or wanted to try something different, my server was always glad to accommodate my request. I've also been successful ordering sauces on the side when I thought it might be too spicy, so I encourage those traveling with you to ask questions about preparation before they make their decision. My preferences have shifted tremendously, and I am way less picky than my early cruise days!
Charlene, there are two ways to preview the dinner menus once you are aboard. First, they are usually posted outside each main dining restaurant each day. Also, the onboard tool, the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app that you can download for your Apple or Android device, lists each menu under each specific day. I always enjoy thinking over my options before I arrive each evening!
Thank you for continuing to use the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Charlene!
