We are hoping to take a few members of our family along with us on our trip. Now we can only find cheap flights that arrive earlier then we do.Do I have to be there for them to check in at the hotel? Any suggestions of what they should do?

    Hi!

I spoke with a Cast Member about this to make sure I was giving you 100 percent correct information and I confirmed that yes, your family members can check-in to the resort as long as their names are on the reservation. When you booked your reservation, I would assume that you provided your family members names on the reservation, therefore they can just show their photo ID and check into the room.

The official resort check-in time is at 3:00 p.m. for all Walt Disney World resorts. If their flight arrives prior to 3, they can attempt to check-in, but there is no guarantee that their room will be ready. While they are waiting for their room, the resort will hold their bags while they walk around the resort, take the Disney Transportation to Downtown Disney to do a bit of shopping or dine at the restaraunt within the resort.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
