We were so hoping to see Divine at AK but someone just told us they thought she was no longer there. We are visiting 4/22/20 for a week. Will she be there? If so, where and when can we find her? Thanks!

Hi, Sharon! We're so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

I remember my first "DiVine Intervention" was on the path between Asia and Africa in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and I was rushing off to the Kilimanjaro Safaris. Wrapped in leaves and ivy, she gracefully moved along on stilts, camouflaging herself into the foliage. Since then, I always chuckle when seeing unsuspecting guests who are less than a few feet away and are utterly unaware of her presence until she suddenly comes to life. When I was in the Park this weekend, I inquired about her appearances, and a PhotoPass Photographer informed me that DiVine has "returned to the jungle," and hasn't been seen at Disney's Animal Kingdom for several months. She also said that Disney contracted DiVine through a company called Living World Entertainment. Let's hope for some pixie dust that she'll return soon!

One character who I did run into (almost literally) was Kevin, from Disney•Pixar's "Up!" She (yes, Kevin is a girl!) is a larger than life exotic bird, who most definitely does not blend in with her surroundings, but she might give you a few pecks on the head! Kevin is also happy to pose for a picture; just ask her Wilderness Explorer Guide, who is always seen roaming the Park with her.

I hope you have a wild time, Sharon! See ya' real soon!
